I have such a sweet tooth! The way to my heart is through red velvet cheesecake and cupcakes. Since I did a post on African restaurants and food, it’s time to balance the sour with the sweet. I believe in supporting African establishments, so I’ll be mentioning African desert brands.
LOLITAS CUPCAKES (UK)
I first heard about this brand ran by Cameroonian sisters Cynthia and Angel via Mimi Magazine. They launched in 2010 and are looking to expand their business by acquiring a store. They are based in the UK. (Note to my friends in the UK:Please send me some abeg!) Aren’t those cupcakes so yummy looking?

G DESERTS (UK)
Also based in London,UK, G Deserts is the place to go for deserts made from the freshest ingredients and does not use additives and preservatives. Its owned by Ghanaian Gillian Boateng. I love the glass packaging and think the cupcakes would make perfect gifts for sweet tooth people like myself(*hint hint)
